Following the killing of George Floyd, more than thirty gathered at Albany First Christian to begin the work of Striving for Anti-Racism. A year later, nine share why they have chosen to do this work and what it has meant to them.

The Anti-Racism/Pro-Reconciliation group seeks to embody and learn about the need to make visible God’s beloved community. The denomination wide initiative invites the church to listen to the once silenced voices of its racial/ethnic communities, learn from their wisdom, and gain insight from their leadership. For more information contact Kathy Frost.

The Anti-Racism/Pro-Reconciliation group meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month on Zoom at 4:30 PM. Email fccalbany@comcast.net for the Zoom info.
